“ I've been here twice now as a frequent traveler to the San Antonio area. The neighborhood is really cute and weirdly quiet. It seems like a fun place to be but maybe it's only hopping on the weekends. Anyways, the food is amazing and there's ample seating. I've gotten the smoke show both times, good level of spice and good curry flavor! I'll be back to try more things!! ”
“ Planned to visit here once we saw it on YouTube. It was just what I hoped for a simple menu. Great flavor to the food and service. I love the atmosphere of the little pink building. I would eat this every day. The brisket was so tender and paired amazingly with the Thai cury and rice. We had the curry queso and chips that queso was amazing!! It's definitely a great option a must. ”
“ Kyla and Judith made my first time here such a wonderful experience. Everyone was so nice and the food was amazing!!! This is a MUST for anyone who is visiting San Antonio. I will be daydreaming about these flavors for weeks. ”
“ For Father's Day we decided to try this Thai/Texas BBQ fusion restaurant because of the numerous positive reviews. It is a quant restaurant in a small, older building that is very clean with a courteous and helpful staff. As we were a group, I was able to sample several dishes in one sitting...they were all excellent. My favorite was the Tony Porker. I can wholeheartedly recommend Curry Boys BBQ and know that we will return. ”
“ Curry Boys BBQ was so delicious. We ordered the chips and curry queso to start, very creamy and rich. The Good Luck Cluck was a juicy chicken thigh in a really good yellow curry sauce with potato and carrots. I added pickles and chili crunch and substituted noodles. Very good flavor and balance of texture. We also had the Magic Mushoom in a green curry over rice. It was light, tasty with a good curry flavor. We sat outside on the covered patio and had a very nice lunch. A must try! ”
“ It's my first visit to their new location, but having the food a second time has definitely brought back some good memories. The food is delicious from the Mystic Mushroom to the tender brisket. A perfect blend of Texan and Asian food. ”
“ Curry Boys BBQ – A Hidden Gem Worth Visiting! (5/5) While visiting San Antonio for a business trip, I was on a late-night date, searching for a good spot to eat before places closed at 10 PM. After two other locations were either closed or too packed, Curry Boys BBQ became our third choice—and I’m so glad it was! Food & Drinks • Unfortunately, they were out of brisket, which was my first choice, but the staff gave great recommendations based on my love for sweet and spicy flavors. • We started with pulled pork nachos—loaded with brisket, cilantro, barbecue sauce, and tortilla chips.Absolutely delicious and a great way to kick off the meal. • For the main course, we both got the Good Luck Cluck rice bowl on the staff’s recommendation. It was packed with flavor, perfectly balanced with spice, sweetness, and smokiness. • I paired it with a Belgian white draft beer, which was light, slightly sweet, and refreshing. • The portions were generous, and everything was so good that I ate every bite in one sitting. Atmosphere & Ambience • The restaurant is a bright pink building, which definitely stands out! It felt like a hole-in-the-wall gem—and those always impress me. • We arrived late, so we had the whole place to ourselves, which made the experience even better. • The decor inside was quirky and unique, with interesting placements of random objects—like a TV in a fireplace surrounded by wood. The artwork and decorations added to the charm and personality of the spot. • The bathroom was clean, smelled great, and felt comfortable—a small but important detail! Service & Overall Experience • The staff was fantastic! They took their time recommending dishes based on my preferences, even though we arrived close to closing time. • The total came to about 64 for two people, which was on the pricier side, but we ordered premium menu items and everything was worth it. • I highly recommend this place and will absolutely return to try the brisket next time! Final Rating: 5/5 – A must-visit spot for flavorful, unique BBQ with a great atmosphere and excellent service! ”
“ Food is great, flavorful, savory, delightful, and packed full of meat. Meat does melt in your mouth, pork and beef. Curry nachos are flavorful. Is a little watery but give it a few minutes and it thickens up. The cream corn is amazing on its own, but adding it your curry bowl packs the bowl with more texture and flavor. Also dipped the chips in the corn and nacho cheese for another great way to eat with your chips. Ended with their ice cream, lyche strawberry and Ube. Both delicious. Would come here every week if it was close to me! ”
